How We Worked Smarter, Not Harder. The story of how we work on both the innovation project and robot game efficiently.

By: Jayden Han.

Have you ever wanted more arms like an octopus so you could multitask. For example you wanted to play video games and also do you homework but didn’t have enough arms? Well we the Awesome Ninjas solved that problem (spoiler we didn’t give our team members more arms ๐Ÿ˜‚). During the FLL UNEARTHED season, the Awesome Ninjas had a huge challenge: completing both the Innovation Project and the Robot Game at the same time but having it be the maximum effort put in as possible. At first, it sounded difficult, but our team found a smart way to stay organized, save time, and get more work done.

Instead of everyone trying to do everything all at once, we split into two groups. One group focused on the Innovation Project and improving our solution. The other group worked on the Robot Game by coding, testing missions, and fixing the robot. This helped us stay focused and work more efficiently. We would also split the Robot Game team into more groups too.

But we did not stay in the same groups forever. Every day in class, we switched so everyone had a chance to work on both the Innovation Project and the Robot Game.

By dividing the work and rotating every day, we were able to get more done in less time. While one group solved robot problems, the other group made progress on the project. Then we shared ideas and helped each other improve. Working this way made our team faster, stronger, and more organized.

In the end, we learned that teamwork is not just about working hard โ€” it is about working smart. The Awesome Ninjas were able to crush both the Innovation Project and the Robot Game together!!!!
