Build. Innovate. Inspire.
The Awesome Ninjas are a middle school robotics team from College Station, Texas—designing robots, solving real-world problems, and sparking creativity through FIRST® LEGO® League.
MEET THE AWESOME NINJAS

The Awesome Ninjas are a middle school FIRST® LEGO® League team from College Station, Texas. Since joining the Challenge program in 2022, we’ve been designing robots, coding solutions, and researching real-world problems alongside teammates from Pecan Trail Intermediate and Wellborn Middle School. We believe in collaboration, curiosity, and creativity — and we’re here to build, innovate, and inspire.
WHAT WE BELIEVE!
At our core, the Awesome Ninjas live by three values

Collaboration – We listen, share, and grow together.

Curiosity – We ask questions and explore new ideas fearlessly.

Creativity – We design, code, and imagine solutions that inspire.
Whether it’s debugging a tricky code loop, developing an Innovation Project, or cheering each other on after a tough match, we stand united. Every milestone matters—big or small—and we celebrate them all.
MEET US
Our Team
Behind the name Awesome Ninjas is a group of very different personalities—each bringing something unique (and sometimes unpredictable) to the team:

Josiah Julian
6th Grade, Pecan Trail Intermediate
The quiet innovator. Calm, confident, and always ready with the breakthrough idea. A soccer player with agility both on and off the field.

Shreya Saripalli
6th Grade, Pecan Trail Intermediate
The motivator. Loud, brave, and full of charisma, Shreya energizes the team and keeps spirits high. A powerhouse who’s never afraid to speak up.

Emily Gao
7th Grade, Wellborn Middle School
The organizer. Focused, thoughtful, and detail-driven. Whether writing notes, organizing thoughts, or presenting with confidence, she brings structure and clarity to the team.

Suraj Saripalli
7th Grade, Wellborn Middle School
The coder. The digital architect of our robots, Suraj, thrives in programming and problem-solving, turning tricky challenges into creative solutions.

Siddharth Karthic
7th Grade, Wellborn Middle School
The engineer. Precision is Sid’s superpower, whether it’s tweaking a robot attachment or swinging a baseball bat, or shooting a basketball. Always striving to improve.

Boine Suh
7th Grade, Wellborn Middle School
The spark. Energetic, fun, and impossible to miss. Boine keeps the team atmosphere lively and reminds everyone that robotics is not just about building — it is also about enjoying the journey.

Jayden Han
7th Grade, Wellborn Middle School
The curious teammate. Small in size but big in spirit, Jayden jumps into challenges with questions, ideas, and a willingness to learn. A quick learner who brings teamwork, humor, and a positive attitude to the group.
Although each member approaches problems differently, the combination of these personalities has proven to be one of the team’s greatest strengths. Some members focus on technical design, others on organization and communication, while others maintain the energy and curiosity that keeps the team motivated. Together, these differences create a balanced environment where creativity, experimentation, and collaboration can thrive.
Why We Do This
For us, robotics is more than competitions. It’s about learning, growing, and inspiring others to explore STEM. We’re building not just robots, but also leadership, teamwork, and lifelong skills that go beyond FLL.
We are the Awesome Ninjas—and our mission is clear:
“To innovate, to inspire, and to have fun along the way.“
