Have you ever had a problem and wondered if it was a problem worth solving? Well when the innovation project first came out, we immediately decided to get our problem and solution of the innovation project for this year’s FLL theme 2025-2026 Unearthed. In order to come up with the best problem and solution we went through a thorough process. This is how we found a problem worth solving — our journey.

First we each had to understand the theme and what we were trying to solve plus the problem that archaeologists face in the field. Then we all were given an assignment to research online with various resources, three problems that archaeologists face in the field and write an essay and response on a google docs sheet. Then after this each of our team members collaborated together by comparing, sharing, and discussing what their findings were. Then we decided on one problem to solve based on similarity in research paths.

So with this in mind we decided to research a solution to the problem above by consulting experts, online research, etc until we eventually came up with an innovative solution.

 In conclusion, our team (Awesome Ninjas) were able to come up with a critical problem and creative solution for our innovation project through rigorous research, expert evaluation, and determination.
